Professional Information

Joye joined the K-State faculty in 2000 and teaches in the public relations sequence. Her research focuses on risk communication and risk perception. She is especially interested in the challenges associated with communicating about food-related hazards including foodborne illnesses and genetic engineering. Joye enjoys bird watching because it's inexpensive and easy to do in 15-minute increments.
