Almost everyone needs financial support to attend college, so scholarships and other financial assistance are very important. There are three pools of scholarship money for students studying journalism and mass communications. One is from the university at large; another is from the A.Q. Miller School itself; and a third comes from outside sources. Journalism and mass communications scholarships are available to freshmen, transfer, returning or graduate students.
Important Deadlines: Postmark deadline is Feb. 2, 2015, or, if delivered in person, by 5 p.m., Feb. 2, 2015. Please see other important deadlines listed on the Admissions Office website.
The application process is similar for all students. Complete the all-university application online and apply for any K-State scholarships for which you may be eligible.
Before returning the scholarship application to financial aid, make two copies. Keep one and return the other to the journalism school with a completed application packet.
